Cookie Policy
Last updated: 14 June 2026 · Effective: 14 June 2026
1. About This Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Athena Agentic, Inc. ("Athena Agentic", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on athenaagentic.com (the "Website") and the Athena Agentic Platform. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Privacy Policy.
2. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, tags, and software development kits (SDKs). They let a site recognise your device, remember your preferences, keep you signed in, and understand how the site is used. Cookies may be session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (remaining until they expire or you delete them), and first-party (set by us) or third-party (set by a provider acting on our behalf).
3. Categories of Cookies We Use
- Strictly necessary, required for the Website and Platform to function: session management, authentication, security tokens (CSRF protection), and load balancing. These cannot be switched off and do not require consent.
- Functional, remember preferences such as language, theme, and the hero sound setting to improve your experience.
- Analytics / performance, help us understand aggregate usage so we can improve the site. These are opt-in only and are set solely after you consent.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share personal data for behavioural advertising.
4. Consent
For non-essential cookies (functional and analytics), we request your consent before they are set, consistent with the GDPR and ePrivacy Directive, UK GDPR and PECR, and applicable US state privacy laws. You can accept, reject, or change your choice at any time through the cookie settings on the Website. Strictly necessary cookies are exempt from the consent requirement.
5. Managing Cookies
You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings and withdraw consent at any time via our cookie settings control. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the Website or Platform from working correctly. Most browsers also let you refuse or delete cookies: consult your browser's help pages for instructions.
6. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Because there is no industry-standard "Do Not Track" specification, we respond to the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal rather than legacy DNT headers. We treat a recognised GPC signal as a valid request to opt out of non-essential cookies and of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information as defined under the CCPA/CPRA.
7. Third-Party Cookies and Sub-Processors
Where we use vetted third-party service providers (for example, for security or privacy-preserving analytics), those providers may set cookies under our instruction and subject to their own privacy terms and our data processing agreements. A current list of sub-processors is available on request and summarised in our Data Processing and International Transfers documentation.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest version. Material changes will be notified as required by applicable law.
